Training

For the Rider
Anna has been teaching professionally since she was 15 and loves working with all levels and ages of rider. Whether you are a beginner who has never sat on a horse and just want to develop a basic skill set, or a serious competitor, she loves to talk through goals and develop a perfect plan to help you achieve what you desire! Much of her teaching ability was gleaned from her mother, Lindy Weatherford, owner and resident trainer of Windholme Farm, who has been involved in many instructor certification seminars and is a USDF certified instructor through 4th level and who's teaching and riding wisdom span multiple decades. In fact Anna encourages many of her students looking to expand their knowledge to take lessons with Lindy as well. Anna's teaching style involves pushing her riders to be their very best and reach their full potential while also maintaining a very positive and uplifting environment. She has experience coaching riders through preliminary level eventing and 2nd/3rd level dressage.
For the Horse
Every horse, just like every person is unique. Anna believes in the importance of the dressage/flatwork and finds joy in designing a program the uniquely suits each horse. She has experience with and particularly enjoys working with young horses, having bought multiple horses straight off the track before helping them develop and excel in new careers and eventually find homes in which they thrive. Anna believes that every horse has something to offer, from rescue to import she loves producing them properly.
Anna accepts horses in training both part and full-time.
